Obituary:
John Tomas Falls, Jr., 67, otherwise known as Tom or Tommy Falls, passed through the gates of heaven on December 7, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. He was a man of honor, integrity and truth. A faithful husband, loving brother, loyal friend, caring uncle, and lover of Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior.

Tom was born in Columbia, SC to parents, John T Falls, Sr. and Vivian Norton Falls. He attended Lower Richland High School and graduated from USC and USC School of Law. He practiced law in Columbia for 35 years. Tom was very active in Trinity Presbyterian Church and Seven Oaks Presbyterian where he was an elder and choir member. He later attended Mountain Hill Community Church in Landrum, SC where he and his wife, Dr. Rosemary Lambert-Falls, retired.

Tom and Rosemary traveled extensively, often taking family and friends on their many adventures. Tom was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time on any course with friends. He loved to sing and, more than anything, Tom loved to laugh. His laugh was contagious and his love for others was boundless and genuine. He truly never met a stranger.

Predeceased by his parents, Tom is survived by his wife, Dr. Rosemary Lambert-Falls; sister, Lynne Falls Kelly and husband, Bob; sister in-law, Charlotte Sloan and her husband, Dr. Jimmy Floyd; as well as nieces and nephews, Brent Lambert (Roberta), Gretchen Lambert Pender, Josh Sloan, Cameron Shirey (Lindsay), Zach Lambert, Emilie Lambert Jones (Spencer); and many great nieces, nephews, and cousins who all had a special place in his heart. He also leaves behind an abundance of friends, including his life-long friend, Dr. Thomas R. Edmonds.

Memorials may be made to Seven Oaks Presbyterian Church Choir Fund, 530 St Andrew’s Rd., Columbia, SC 29210 or Mountain Hill Community Church, 34 The Cliff’s Pkwy, Landrum, SC 29356.

In consideration of the health of others during this pandemic, a service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
