Mr. Cline died Saturday morning in a Lindale nursing home after a brief illness. He was born Feb 6, 1908 in Mount Sylvan. He resided in Lindale since 1971, moving from Fort Worth. He was a member of Lindale First United Methodist Church, where he attended the George Lake Sunday School class, and Lindale Masonic Lodge No. 848. He was retired from Swift Packing Company of Fort Worth.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Cline, Lindale, two sons, Harold Cline, Austin, and Jerry Cline, Roswell, Ga.; one sister, Mrs Mammie Betts, Fort Worth; five grandchildren.
Pallbearers include Walter Edwin Taylor, Earl Baldwin, Truett Johnson, Tom Brewster, T.C. Newson and Truman Snider.
