Donnie Ray Allison, age 70, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Maysville Extended Care, in Maysville, Kentucky. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on October 16, 1950, to the late Hiram and Alliene Shannon Allison. He was owner of Allison’s Concrete, at Blue Licks, Kentucky, for 50 years. He was a resident of Robertson County Nursing Facility and a member of Blue Licks Christian Church. He loved Case tractors and tractor shows and loved working on and restoring them.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by: a sister, Martha Allison French; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Allison. He is survived by: two brothers, Jerry (Nancy) Allison, of Cynthiana, and Luther Allison, of Maryville, Tennessee; three nephews, David (Shannon) Allison, of Cynthiana, and Luther Allison, Jr., and Christopher Allison, both of Maryville, Tennessee; a niece, Annette Godsey, of Maryville, Tennessee; and two great-nephews, Jonathan (Petra) Allison and Jordan Allison.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 11, at Carlisle Cemetery. Pastor Jonathan Allison will be officiating.
