ARMADA – Luella M. (Wuestenberg) Collins, 91, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 1995 in Fraser Villa Nursing Home.
Luella was born Nov. 2, 1904 in Detroit, a daughter of the late Charles and Anabelle (Burns) Peterson.
She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Armada and a former member of St. John's Ladies' Aid, New Haven.
She is survived by her son, Edward (Irma) Wuestenberg of Armada; one daughter, Marilyn (William) Igel of Harrison; a sister, Helen Kniveton of Clawson; grandchildren, Bill Igel Jr., Cliff (Sheila) Igel, Kristy (Gary) Tesch, Joellen (Richard) Beal, Terry (Roy) Reno and Mark Wuestenberg; and great-grandchildren, Damon Igel and Derek, Noelle and Alex Reno.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Arthur Wuestenberg in 1954 and Albert Colins in 1983; brothers, Louis and Willard Gerardin; and sister, Edna Thomas.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Tiffany-Young and Hauss Funeral Home. The Rev. David Winnington, pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery, Richmond Township.
Visiting will be 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the Armada Athletic Boosters or to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
