Daniel Bert Toy ("Arizona"), 56, of Danville, VA died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at his residence after being in declining health for the past seven years.

Mr. Toy was born in Hillsdale, Michigan on March 28, 1956, a son of the late Audley Burt Toy, Sr. and Carolyn Jane Cheesboro. He had lived most of his life in Kingman, Arizona and had been a resident of Danville for the past twenty years.

He retired due to disability from W L A Trucking Company where he worked as a truck driver and he was an avid fisherman.

He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his mother, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, he is survived by his significant other, Kathy Dillon Foster, of the residence; three children, Margaret Malinda Foster, Lee Foster and Allen Toy; two grandchildren, Caitlin Foster and Skylar George; five brothers, Marlin Toy, Gregory Toy, Audley Toy, Jr., Rodney Toy and Scott Toy; three sisters, Patricia Newcomb, Wendy Toy and Hope Toy.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Melodie Toy and Michela Pleasant.
