Agnes Adele Yoss, daughter of John T. and Louise (Fischer) Yoss, was born on August 7, 1912 in Rockville, Missouri. She passed away on September 20, 2007 at Appleton City Manor Nursing Home at the age of 95 years. Agnes worked and lived in several locations throughout her life. She retired from Guy's in Kansas City in 1979 and moved to Appleton City, Missouri where she remained throughout her life. Agnes was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Appleton City, Missouri and was baptized on August 11, 1912 and confirmed on April 5, 1925 at Zion Lutheran Church in Prairie City, Missouri. She served her church with her participation as Sunday school teacher, Altar Guild, Ladies Aid and Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Reinhold, Walter and John Yoss and a sister Lydia(Yoss)Rapp. Agnes is survived by eleven nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Agnes loved to travel, and her church and family were always extremely important to her.
