Mr. Douthitt died Oct. 2, 2007, in Fort Worth.
Burial will be in Creagleville Cemetery, Van Zandt County.
He was born Aug. 26, 1951, in Slaton to Jeffie "J.D." and Fairie Dale Waymire Douthitt. He served in the Army and was an electrician.
Survivors include his wife of 18 yeas, Kay Douthitt, Bogata; sons, Randy Douthitt, Cleburne, and Jeff Douthitt, Bogata; daughters, Misty Douthitt, Lockney, and Angela Douthitt, Bogata; sister, Linda Phillip, Bagwell; brothers, Lynn Douthitt, Bagwell, and Lindley Douthitt, Meridian, Miss.; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers are Mike Vansikler, Robby Robertson, Nicholas Leroy, Anderson "Rooster" Ponthieux, Jeremy Mata, Johnny McWhorter, Silverio Gonzales, Pablo Palomares and Daniel Villanueva.
Family will receive friends 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
