GUNNELS, Agnes L. - Of Flint, age 96, died Monday, October 1, 2007 at her residence. Agnes was born in Clio, Michigan on July 1, 1911, the daughter of the late Stanford and Mattie Gilbert. She married Joseph Gunnels on October 25, 1928 and he preceded her in death on December 28, 1973. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Mrs. Gunnels was employed by the Carman-Ainsworth School District for many years. Surviving are 2 sons, Robert and wife Mary, Paul and wife Barbara; 2 daughters, Shirley Baty, Carol and husband David Schneiderhan; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Howard; granddaughter, Becky; and 2 sisters, Marie and Maude.
