Donnie, 72, 7681 Harris Road, Celina, died at 7:31 a.m., at Van Wert County Hospital.
He was born in Center Township to Delbert Dale and Erma (Overley) Harris. On Nov. 16, 1984, he married Mary Schroer, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Michael, St. Marys, Mark, Neptune, and James (Brenda), Spencerville; two stepsons, Rodney (Kelli) Rider, Rockford, and David (Niki) Rider, Celina; two daughters, Vickie, Celina, and Donna (Keith) Hibner, New Bremen; a sister, Thelma (Roger) Burrows, Celina; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two grandchildren and a stepgreat-grandchild.
He retired from the former Huffy Bicycle Corp. and worked at Schroyer Trucking, both of Celina, and the St. Marys Fertilizer plant. A 1952 graduate of the former Neptune High School, he was a member of the Old Fashioned Farmers, Buckeye Antiques and Tri State Gas & Steam Engines.
