Ardis-Olsen, Brenda Muskegon Brenda J. Ardis-Olsen, age 58, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on December 24, 1960 to Robert and Joan (Raap) Ardis in Muskegon. Brenda was a devoted Mother, Sister and friend. Her laughter and joyful spirit will be missed. She was a record holding swimmer and track star. She was recently inducted into the Fruitport Hall of Fame. She loved bargain shopping and decorating. She would rather spend her money on others than herself. If someone was in need she would always go without to help a friend or family member. Survivors include her three Sons: Richard (Valerie) Olsen, Ryan Olsen (Kathleen Ambrose) and Aaron Olsen, and her Grandson: Ricky Jay (Sugar bear) Olsen. Survivors also include her mother: Joan Ardis, and two sisters: Kimberly (Pete) Lapins and family, and Lisa (Brian) Lacross and family. Also survived by her longtime boyfriend Rob Patterson and family. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Ardis. Brenda was the local favorite bartender. She loved her customers and they loved her as well. Her smile and laughter was infectious. She loved adventures with her friends and boyfriend. You would rarely find her sitting around relaxing. She loved to be active and discover new places. The legacy she left will live forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
