He married, first, on Nov 5,1627 at Horton, Co.Buckinghamshire, Joan Hearne.
He married, second, about 1650, a woman named Elizabeth, whose origins are not currently known. She died at Lynn,MA in July 1679.
Children(by first marriage): possibly George Jencks, Joseph Jencks Jr, Elizabeth Jencks, and possibly Richard Jencks.
Children(by second marriage): Sarah Jencks Chilson, Samuel Jencks(whose second wife was Elizabeth Potter Floyd Jencks, and whose children, by his first wife, included Samuel Jenks Jr and Mary Jenks), Deborah Jencks, John Jencks(father of Capt John Jenks Jr), and Daniel Jencks.
