Bob Allen Dorow, 63, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020, in Brenham, TX. Burial will be at Staples Cemetery.

Bob was born on March 16, 1957, in Falfurrias, Texas, to Henry A. "Buddy" Dorow Jr. and Agnes Elaine McKean Dorow. Bob played tennis in high school and enjoyed music and dancing. He was a favorite among his classmates. He graduated from Raymondville High School in 1976. Bob attended and graduated from Southwest Texas State College. He worked as a Physical Education teacher and coach at Clemente Martinez Elementary School for 22 years.

Anyone who knew Bob knew his love for Disney. The cartoon character Mickey Mouse was his favorite. Bob even traveled to Paris, France, to see Mr. Mouse. Like Mickey, Bob brought smiles, laughter, and happiness wherever he went. Bob had an infectious smile that radiated all around him. He has never met a stranger. Bob loved and was loved by many and found joy in church, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Henry and Annie Dorow and John and Lillie McKean; aunts and uncles: Julie Mae and James Hamby, Ruth and Freddie Bauerlein, Regina and Mike Dolan and Lloyd Deavers.

Survivors include his sisters, Lynda Sherman, of San Angelo, and Debra Ann Eckert and her husband, Rick, of Greenvine; brother, John Veselka and his wife, Susan Dorow, of Lubbock; many other relatives and friends. A5
