Through the years, Richard and Ruth sold real estate, owned and operated R&R Electronics and Ceramic Works, Quality Metal and Sanders’ Farms. Ruth was the secretary at Delta R-V Elementary for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Whitewater.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard Jr. and Jessica Sanders; grandchildren, Haley, Brianna, Morgan and Trey of Jackson, her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Gregory Goergen; grandchildren, Zachary and Jeremiah of Powhatan, Va. One brother and sister-n-law, Dale and Pat Jones of West Memphis, AR; two sisters, Eva Jones of Sikeston and Sue Malloy of Canalou; nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, sister, three brother-in-laws, niece, and daughter, Amanda.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo. is handling final arrangements.
