Billy Neil Crutchfield was born on Thursday, June 9, 1938 in Wright City, Oklahoma, the son of Eugene and Frances Crutchfield. He passed from this life at his home in Broken Arrow on Saturday, November 28, 2020. He was 82 years of age.
Bill was a 1956 graduate of Will Rogers High School in Tulsa. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tulsa in 1973. Bill was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served in the Cuban Invasion. Bill was employed as a Mechanical Engineer for Air Exchangers. He married Virginia Lemon in 1961. She preceded him in death on June 30, 1996. On November 20, 1998 in Pryor, Oklahoma he married Glenda Boyle. Bill and Glenda were able to celebrate their 22nd wedding anniversary on November 20, 2020. Bill was a long time member of Broken Arrow Assembly of God Church. He served as a deacon for 32 years and was a leader for Royal Rangers. He and Glenda have been members of The Ridge Church in Broken Arrow where Bill served on the Church Board. Bill enjoyed sprint car racing, NASCAR Racing and OU Football. He enjoyed spur of the moment trips with his wife Glenda. He dearly loved his family and spending time with his grandkids. The family requests memorials to The Ridge Church Building Fund.
