Lt. Colonel Hon. Eric Richard Thesiger, DSO, TD was a veteran of the Second Boer War and World War I. Sadly, he was predeceased by each of his wives: Pearl Marie Coupland, whom he married in 1904, passed away in 1922; Sydney Hilda Hutton-Croft, his second wife, passed away in 1929; his third wife, Mary Pudsey, passed away in 1953.
