Admiral Sir Bertram Sackville Thesiger, KBE, CB, CMG, Royal Navy, was a veteran of World War I and World War II and the author of 'Queries in Seamanship: A Collection of Typical Questions in the Various Items of a Midshipman's Seamanship Examination' (Portsmouth: Griffin & Co., 1906).
