Joseph “Joe” Franklin Sharp, of Cleveland, TN was called home with the Lord on November 27, 2020 at age 80. He was born August 30, 1940 to Carl Moran Sharp and Maude Mahar Sharp in Memphis, TN.

Joe’s passions were antique automobiles and license plates. He served as President of several car clubs through the years, most recently for the Cleveland, TN Main Street Cruisers.

Joe was known for his kindred spirit, infectious laugh, unwavering friendship and his fierce love for his family.

Joe is preceded in death by 4 brothers, Kenneth, Logan, Carl Moran Jr., and Billy. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, as well as two children; Virginia “Ginnie” Geater (Matt) and Leslie Bird (Charles). He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren; Sarah Kate Geater (11), Colin Bird (6) and Preston Bird (4). Due to COVID-19 precautions, visitation will be limited to immediate family members only. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 5 p.m. EST at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, Tennessee. Internment will be held at Henry Cemetery in Corinth, Mississippi.
