Chester Clinton
Chester Clinton, 59, a resident of Tulare for the past seven years, died Friday in the University of California Hospital in San Francisco.
A native of Putnam, Okla., and formerly a resident of El Cajon for 22 years, Clinton had been clerking at Way's Hardware.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the Hamilton Peers Funeral Service, with the Rev. Robert R. Roberts of the First Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Tulare Cemetery.
Clinton is survived by his widow, Mrs. Gleola Clinton, 532 No. F St.; three sons, Don Clinton, Sammy Clinton, and Larry Clinton, Tulare; a brother, Sidney Clinton, Clinton, Okla.; four sisters, Mrs. Ross (Velma) Hays, Tulare; Mrs. Cecil (Freda) Woods, San Diego, and Mrs. Myrtle Finley and Mrs. Lee (Lela) Finley, El Cajon, and one grandchild.
He was a member of the Methodist Church.
