Sara Anthony Chaney was the daughter of Abraham Anthony, Jr. and Mary Allen and the wife of Asa Swallow Chaney. Her married name was sometimes spelled 'Cheney.' She was originally buried in 1850 in Old Cruickshank Cemetery in Port Edwards. When in 1874 that cemetery started to close down her remains were removed to Forest Hill Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids. Cruickshank/Kruickshank Cemetery no longer exists. No gravestone.
