Edna was born to William and Lulu Peecher of Bowling Green, Mo. on Oct. 19, 1921 in their home that she grew up in. She graduated from Bowling Green High School on May 19, 1939 where she enjoyed playing basketball. Edna met the love of her life Harold F. Allen of Eldorado KS. while he was in Bowling Green working with the CC’s. They married on May 19, 1940. This union brought five children.
They later moved to St. Louis, MO in 1950 they moved back to Denver, Colorado.
Harold passed away on March 10, 1999. Edna spent most of the remainder of her life living at her son in Elbert County CO. and her final year was at Brookside Inn Nursing Home in Castle Rock, CO. where she passed away from COVID-19. Edna was a very loving mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed by all our family and friends that new her. Edna was preceded in death by her mother and father, her three sisters and one brother, her husband Harold, son Keith and daughter Patricia Ann.
She is survived by her sons and seven grandchildren.
