Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Futch Blanton of Lake Park; children, Dana Blanton of Hahira, Leighann Watley (Jamie) of Valdosta, Felisha Spells (Eric) of Fitzgerald, Luke Blanton of Lake Park, Matthew and Alyssa Blanton of Texas; eight grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Buchanan and Shara Ann Haire - both of Valdosta.
