Delos Delbert Sadewasser, age 91, of Guttenberg, IA, died Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at the Guttenberg Care Center.
He was born on February 21, 1929 in Guttenberg, the son of Delbert and Ruby (Frye) Sadewasser. Delos graduated from the Guttenberg High School.
He served his county in the United States Army from 1951 - 1953.
Delos was united in marriage on March 17, 1951 to Donna Barnhart.
He was employed at Meuser Lumber Co for over 40 years.
Together, Delos and Donna owned and operated Sadewasser Draperies for over 50 years.
Delos is survived by his children, Mary (Terry) Shupe and Douglas (Karen) Sadewasser; 4 grandchildren, Angela (Drew) Furst, Kim Sadewasser, Chris (Susan) Sadewasser & Michelle (Adam) Riley; great grandchildren Wyatt and Graham Furst, Lela and AJ Riley; 1 sister, Dorothy (Blair) Beatty and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Delos was preceded in death by his wife Donna (2013) his parents; step grandson, Jeramy Shupe and brother, Don Sadewasser.
