Sue Rains Hawhee, age 83, of Crockett, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in the Enchanted Pines Assisted Living. Sue was born December 17, 1937 in Crockett to parents, Oscar Nichols and Gertrude Johnson Nichols. She worked for many years as a Court Reporter then became a Certified Natural Practitioner also Certified Iridologist owning and operating Sunshine Health and Herbs always sharing her knowledge with her customers about natural health. Sue was a member of the First United Methodist Church, longtime member and president of the Young at Hearts Group, and past member of the Crockett Garden Club and Eastern Star.
Sue is survived by sons, Jimbo Rains and wife, Debbie of Crockett, Rusty Rains and wife, Sandra of Crockett; grandsons, Jim Casey Rains, Michael Rains of Houston, Jason Horton and wife, Jermaine of Grapeland; great-granddaughters, Macie and Kolbi Horton. She was preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Gertrue Nichols; sister, Billie Jo Bennett; husband, Everett Hawhee.

Graveside services for Sue Rains Hawhee will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 27, 2020 in the Evergreen Memorial Park.
