Larry D. Casey, Sr., 62, of Barton passed away, Monday, October 1, 2007 in West Memphis. Mr. Casey was born July 8, 1945 in Manila, Arkansas to the late Fred R. Casey and the late Vallie Cook Casey.
Mr. Casey was a member of Fourth Street Baptist Church, Three Rivers Bass Club and Hughes Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara McMillan Casey of Barton; a son, Larry Casey, Jr. and wife, Lisa, of El Dorado; a daughter, Stephanie Arnold and husband, Anthony, of Barton; grandchildren, Jessica Casey, Tanner Casey, Casey Arnold and Jackson Arnold; a sister, Sue Feemster and husband, Eddie of West Helena; brothers, John Carroll Casey and wife, Terry, of Batesville, and Randy Casey and wife, Sandra, of Senatobia, Mississippi; a host of nieces and nephews; his special fishing buddy, Dustin Bond of Barton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services for Larry Casey will be held Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Roller-Citizens. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Reverend Rodger Hooker will officiate.
Pallbearers are Albert Turbyfill, Andy Coats, Ryan Spakes, Tim Wilson, S.B. Mitchell and Jerry Rodden. Honorary pallbearers are the Hughes Hunting Club and Joe Tom Cunningham.
Memorials may be made to Barton Schools Relay for Life Team.
