She was born February 1, 1935 in Amarillo, Texas to Mervin and Inez Ford. She went to Amarillo High School.

She married the love of her life, Marvin Franklin Snider on March 14, 1951 until his passing June 24, 2019. Together they raised four beautiful children, Lewis, Johnny, Rose, and Anthony. She worked as a sales manager in the shoe department at JC Penneys in the old Sunset Center and retired in 1973. Family and friends at Lake Buchanan were cherished by her. She was known as Nanny by her loved grand, great-grand and great great-grand children. She loved racing go-carts, shing and frying it up for dinner. She is survived by her son, Lewis Snider and wife, Raynon of Amari) 0; Johnny Snider and wife Vicki of Houston; daughter, Rose McKinney and husband, Steve of Amarillo; and son Anthony and wife, Catherine of Rio Rancho, NM. Eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and four great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband, Marvin Snider, father, Mervin Ford, mother, Inez Ford. brother, Barry Ford, and sister, BettyLou Crosby.
