Born Oct. 14, 1944, in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Jay William and Esther M. (Clark) Adair.
She is survived by her husband, Wade L. Colyer, whom she married May 17, 1967, one daughter, Jennifer F. Weiand and husband, Randy, of Mifflintown, two grandchildren, Kayla Weiand and Caleb Weiand, four great-grandchildren, Emmett Weiand, Landon Fohringer, Bentley Fohringer, and Rylee Fohringer, one sister, Kay Campbell of Carlisle, two brothers, James Adair and wife, Jo, of Loysville and Kenneth Adair and wife, Nancy of Chambersburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Christian Weiand.
Barb graduated from Blain Union High School.
She dearly loved her family and being a wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with them, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She grew up in the Center Presbyterian Church of Loysville and currently was a member of Centre Union Church, Yeagertown.
Her hobbies included reading, walking, and working with her flowers.
The family is planning for a memorial service in the spring to celebrate Barb’s life.
