She was born in Rolla on November 15, 1946 to the late Robert and Sylvia (Harris) Fore.
Ruth enjoyed spending time with family. She was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Mizzou Tigers and Kansas City Chiefs. She loved watching movies and playing Wii bowling. She also enjoyed listening to gospel and country music. She worked at Phelps County Memorial Hospital, now Phelps Health, and later moved to Columbia and worked at the University Hospital.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her siblings, Cora Robenia, Freda Roark, Ralph, Marvin and Danny Fore, and her daughter, Marcia Huskey.
She will be deeply missed by her surviving family which includes her daughter, Marlene; grandchildren, Devon Shockley, Josh Todd and fiancée Dakota, Jonathon Todd, Morgan Reifstek and Danielle Todd; great grandchildren, Jordan Huskey, Skyler Shockley, Hayden Shockley, Caleb Leach and Wrenley Todd; sisters-in-law, Wanda Fore and Mona Fore; numerous nieces and nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.
A graveside service for Ruth Logan will be held at 3 pm Sunday, November 22, 2020 at the Pilot Knob Cemetery in rural Rolla.
Memorial contributions in Ruth’s memory are suggested to the Pilot Knob Cemetery.
