Abraham Michael Hubbs, 57, of Terre Haute, passed away November 11, 2020, in Union Hospital. Abe was born January 15, 1963, in Terre Haute to Paul Hubbs and Rosemary Hubbs-Lemaire. Abe worked in the grocery business for 40 years, he started when he was 17 years old. He worked for Great Scot Country Market, managed the Locust Street IGA and was the assistant manager of Page's IGA and West Vigo IGA. His hobby and passion was woodworking. He was a skilled woodworker making custom cabinets, furniture, and many other pieces. He loved to travel and was able to go to many places with his wife Debra. He and Debra traveled to Key West, South Dakota, and several other places from 2001 to 2015 before they got married on April 12, 2016.

Abe is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Debra Kaye Hubbs, stepsons, Matthew Hewitt (Amy), Ryan Hewitt (Danni), Jeremy Hewitt (Amanda), and Bill Bigler (Lacy), stepdaughter, Kristy Bigler, brothers, Herbert Tom Hubbs, and Joseph Hubbs, sister, Ruth Hubbs, niece, Makala Hubbs, and step-grandchildren, Liam, Mia, Landon, Miranda, Jazlyn, and Claire.

Services for Abe will be Monday, November 23, 2020, at 1 pm in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Visitation will be from 11 until service time on Monday. Online condolences can be made at www.greinerfuenralhome.com
