Services for Bernice Shore Nagel, 94, of Iowa Masonic Home, Bettendorf, are 2:30 p.m. Saturday, at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial is in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation is one hour prior to service time.

Mrs. Nagel died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1993, at Davenport Medical Center.

The former Bernice Shore was born Oct. 11, 1898, in Davenport, the daughter of John and Madge Porter Shore. She married Fred Nagel in Davenport. He died May 12, 1973.

She had been employed at the Rock Island Arsenal prior to retirement.

She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport.

Survivors include a daughter, Noreen Turner, Dunnelow, Florida; a son, Harry Bowling, Moline; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Janice and Wayne Johnson, Coffeeville, Kansas.

Bernice's first husband was Raymond Harry Bowling. They were married on July 12, 1917 and divorced on May 5, 1926.
