Margie Joyce Baker Snoe (Coonie) was born in Harris County, Texas on July 17,1931 to F.F. and Loma Baker. She passed away at her home in Conroe, Texas on November 19, 2020.

Margie graduated from Conroe High School in 1950 and later married the love of her life B.J. Snoe. She then became a wife and mother to three children. She dedicated many hours to the P.T.A. at her children’s schools. Later in life she became an LVN, using those skills to take care of many family members including her father and her husband. She thoroughly enjoyed watching her grandkids show livestock and playing sports. Her biggest joy the past two years was her great granddaughter Hadley who she very affectionately referred to as “Baby”.

“She’s the first to help someone, to see a need and lend a hand, to sense a pain and understand. That’s just the way my sister is. She’s always busy, doing more than other people can get done, and yet she finds the time for fun. That’s just the way my sister is. She has so many qualities that others recognize as rare, but she’s completely unaware. That’s just the way my sister is. That’s why I love her.” -Author Unknown

Margie is preceded in death by her parents F.F. and Loma Baker, her husband of 48 years, B.J. Snoe, her sister and brother-in-law Maurice and Melba Chambers, sister Ethel and Frank Stephens, and granddaughter Emily Kathleen Snoe.

She is survived by her son Kenneth Snoe and Debbie George, daughter Karen Snoe Jones and son Gary and wife Elizabeth Snoe. Grandchildren, Chelsea Jones, Haley and husband Taylor Hayes, Lucas Snoe and Corbett Snoe, Braydan Salas. Great grandchild Hadley Hayes (Baby). Brother Floyd Baker Jr. and Irene Baker, and numerous nieces and nephews.
