Mr. James Woolfolk, a well-known character about Macon, and whose father once owned old Fort Hill, died on Sunday, the 15th inst., and was buried at Fort Hill Cemetery.∼Son of Thomas Woolfolk and Frances "Fannie" Wadsworth Woolfolk. He married Gertrude Jackson Wyche on July 1, 1868 and they divorced Sep 7, 1871. James had no children.
