Katie Davis of Sikeston, Missouri, daughter of the late Wilbur and Bertie Knight, was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on June 26, 1935 and passed away in Sikeston, Missouri on November 18, 2020 at the age of 85.
Katie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed working in her garden and mowing the lawn. She worked for many years as a cook for the Richland School District.
Surviving are her two sons Tim (Toni) Davis and Michael Knight; one daughter Carolyn Davis; one sister Cozette Lape. Many other family and friends survive. Katie was proceeded in death by three brothers Bob Knight, Conard Knight and Bub Knight; and one sister Lola Faye Arnold.
Visitation will be held on Saturday November 21, 2020 at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield starting at 11:00 am until service time.
Funeral services will also be Saturday November 21, 2020 at 12:00 pm at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Dale Holman officiating.
Burial will follow at the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service handling all arrangements.
