Emma Lou Mann, age 86, passed from this life Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at a local hospital. Emma Lou was born September 18, 1934 in Rock Creek, TX to Clarence and Laura James Blackerby. She loved her family, was an avid Reader and Crafter with numerous Needle Point and Cross Stitch projects to her credit. Emma Lou was a retired Dental Assist and Office Clerk, and a lifelong member of the North Side Baptist Church where she was active in Evergreen and the Happy Hats groups. She is preceded in death by her Husband Edd Mann, Parents, a Sister Marie Strickland, and a Brother Edwin Blackerby.
Emma Lou is survived by her Daughter, Rebecca Mann of Orlando FL, son Joe Mann of Weatherford, and Sister Clarica Burns of Weatherford, and many loved nieces and nephews and cousins. Emma Lou was the kindest, most gentle soul that always had a smile for all who came in contact with her. She also had some steel nerves as dating and then marrying Edd Mann, and being married for 55 years, was not for the faint-hearted! We miss her so much already but know that they are both watching over us now.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the North Side Baptist Charities.

Visitation will be Friday evening November 19, 2020 at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Funeral Ceremony 2:00 pm. Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the North Side Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Memory Gardens Cemetery
