A very special aunt and one I truly miss. I can remember visiting the farm as I was growing up and before she was married. We always had so much fun with her and Aubrey, her youngest brother. The simple things around the farm were so much fun to do, of course after the chores were done. There was always chores to do. After she married and before she had her own family, she and my uncle Acey made me and my brother Larry their children and would take us to the movies at the Sunset Drive-in, just down from the house in Arco. We had so much fun, and I have such fond memories of that time in my life and even doing the 'Twist' at the drive-in twist contests, when it was the fad. I believe she always had a special place in her heart for me and I treasure the times we were together. Raising her own kids, Shirley, Terry and Karen and even grandchildren with her second husband Robert 'Bob' Frost. Bob just recently passed and will be missed very much also. I remember her letting me babysit Shirley, when she was so tiny. Shirley was and still is special. Aunt Von loved my singing and I always had a good audience when she was around. I loved her very much and will miss her for the rest of my life.
