Virginia Marie Thacker, 62, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away on November 17, 2020 at Mercy Hospital South in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born April 15, 1958 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Marvin Gale Thacker and Ina Lue (Bybee) Thacker Sellers.

Virginia is survived by her siblings, Leona Thacker, Janet Johnston, and Marvin Thacker, all of Mount Vernon, Illinois; close friends, Tammy Schoenwalder and Karen Wasser; eleven nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and nephews; and her cats, Molly and Ellie.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia "Candy" Thacker.

Virginia began her career at the Salem Theater and managed various Wehrenberg theaters for over a decade. She was a lifelong avid Saint Louis Cardinals fan. Virginia graduated from Missouri College. She loved movies, books, music, and hated traveling. Virginia will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jason Webb officiating.
