Charles Arthur "Bud" Dearing, age 71, of Harrisburg, passed away at 6:40 AM, Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Bud was born on September 2, 1949 in Harrisburg to the late Roy and Kathleen (Rice) Dearing. He married Norma on December 3, 1993 and she survives in Harrisburg.
Bud served his country in the 25th Infantry Division of the United States Army in Vietnam from 1969 to 1971.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather; known to his grand children and great grandchildren as "Papa Squeaky".

Bud is survived by his wife, Norma Dearing of Harrisburg, three daughters, Kristy and husband Alec of Thompsonville; Beth of Marion; and Tracy and husband Joe of Harrisburg; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Judy and husband Bill of Carrier Mills; Katy of Carrier Mills; and Kathy of Chicago Heights; and several nieces and nephews.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Dickie Joe Dearing.

Funeral services for Charles Arthur "Bud" Dearing will be held at 11 AM, Friday, November 20, 2020 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM, Friday, November 20, 2020 at Reed Funeral Chapel.
