Pam, beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend passed away at age 57 on March 1, 2017 in London, England, where she resided with her husband of 30 years, David Sington.

Pam was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 30, 1959 to Harvey E. Neville and Joanne W. Neville. Pam graduated from The Laurel School in Shaker Heights, Ohio, Harvard University (BA), and Oxford University (MA). She received her doctorate in English Renaissance Studies from the Warburg Institute, London.

Pam was a writer. She authored "Fanny Trollope: The Life and Adventures of a Clever Woman" (1997) and "Robert Browning: A Life After Death" (2005). Pam also wrote "Paradise Dreamed: How Utopian Thinkers have Changed the Modern World" (1993) with her husband. Pam edited Fanny Trollope's "Domestic Manners of the Americans" for Penguin Classics. At the time of her death, Pam was working on a graphic novel and a screenplay which will be completed posthumously. Pam was a member of both the Trollope Society and the Browning Society.

Pam is survived by her husband David and beloved dog Garbo, mother Joanne, sisters Susan N. Proos (James), Deborah, brother Harvey, aunt Sally N. Neville, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends. She is predeceased by her sister Mary Ann Neville and father Harvey E. Neville. In memory of Pam, her family suggests that contributions be made in Pam's name to The World Wildlife Fund, 1250 24th St. NW, Washington, DC 20037(www.worldwildlife.org).
