Jack Hogan passed away at his home on November 16, 2020 at the age of 68.

Jack was born on November 17, 1951 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He graduated high school from Checotah high in 1970. Later, he received his bachelor’s degree in psychology. Jack retired after 24 years of service from the federal prison in El Reno. During his employment he held various different positions but one thing that was always certain he wanted to help people.

Jack was a devout father and loved sports. He called into the sports animal everyday. His love for OU was a bond shared with his brothers and father. They never missed a game. Jack had a full life and never had a full story to tell. His laugh would light up the entire room and without seeing him you’d know Hogan was somewhere in the building. Jack will be deeply missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Duyene Hogan and his father, David Hogan.

He is survived by his wife Dolores Hogan of 30 years. They were married in El Paso, TX on September 27, 1990. Jack is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Mercedes Hogan and Anna Morris and his brothers, Roy Hogan and Joe Hogan, and his uncle, Bob Hogan.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020 at First Baptist Church Jack will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah, Oklahoma next to David and Duyene.
