Laura was born in Borger, Texas, on November 2, 1935, to John and Paulene Bond. She graduated from Odessa College with a degree in Art. Laura enjoyed bowling at Mountaineer Lanes. She competed in many bowling tournaments with her good friends.
Laura is survived by her siblings Karl Bond, Charles Bond, John Bond, Kay King and Ike Shipman; her children, Lisa Blankenship and Karol McAtee; her grandchildren, Alexis Ellis, Shannon Williams, Roxanne Warren, Justin McAtee, Keith McAtee and Steven Luna; and a plethora of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carol McAtee.
There will be a private memorial dinner for family members only.
