oger Wayne Guinn, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born May 3, 1958, in Garberville, California, to the late Edgar L. Cookson-Guinn and Iva Mae (Embrey) Guinn. He was 62 years old. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Allan L. Guinn; and a brother, Allan Guinn.

Roger was an employee for 40 years and retired from the City of Fort Smith in the Sanitation Department. He also did roofing as a side job for many years. Roger loved bowling and was a bowling league member for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting and all sporting events, and was a member of Friendship Baptist Fellowship in Rock Island, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jane (Hansen) Guinn; a daughter, Crystal Guinn Graper and husband William of Fort Smith; two sons, Roger Guinn, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Joseph Guinn and wife Ashley of Spiro, Oklahoma; two step-children, Ashley Garcia and husband Augustine of Ardmore, Oklahoma and Steven Deaton and wife Amanda of Ada, Oklahoma; two brothers, Larry Guinn and wife Sheila of Muldrow, Oklahoma and Donnie Guinn and wife Laverne of McCurtain, Oklahoma; eighteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Cremation Services in Fort Smith.
