She divorced William Hauserman in 1940.
OBITUARY Ruth Garrison, 90, died Thursday, January 25, 2001, at Visiting Nurse Service Hospice Care Center.
She was born in Sarahsville, Ohio and was an Akron area resident since 1940. She was a member of Park United Methodist Church. Mrs. Garrison retired from the Fire stone Tire and Rubber Company in 1972 after 30 years of service.
She was preceded in death by husband, Fred Garrison; son-in-law, Roy Cottle; grandson, Douglas Michael Cottle; brother, Harley Brokaw; and sister, Gertrude Walker. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Billy and Pei Hauserman of Baltimore, Maryland; daughter, Kay Cottle of Akron; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews
. Funeral service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd., Rev. Jack Dearth officiating. Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz, 724-1281.)
