BETHANY
Fred G. Galliers, beloved husband, brother, and father, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020.

He graduated from The Ohio State University and became a respected geologist in the oil and gas industry. He married Barbara "Bobbie" Syverson and together, they raised their daughter. He was a brilliant scientist, intrepid explorer, and enthusiastic teacher. A talented photo-grapher, his beautiful photos helped countless foster animals find homes. Those around him benefited from his wisdom, generosity, and patience, and enjoyed his extraordinary sense of humor. His family loved him tremendously and will miss him beyond measure.

Fred was preceded in death by his father, Ed, his mother, Velma, his step-mother, Liz, and his brother, William "Buzz" Galliers. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, his daughter and son-in-law, Lacy and Dan Couch, brother and sister-in-law Col. Richard "Dick" and Gail Galliers (FL), brother and sister-in-law Don and Pat Galliers (OH), sister-in-law Linda Galliers (widow of Buzz) (MI), five nephews, one niece and many cousins.

A celebration of Fred's life will be held when gathering together is safe. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Wildcare Foundation of Oklahoma (wildcareoklahoma.org).
