Mrs. Emma A. Brooks, 92, a former resident of Dale, died Monday at New London Community Hospital. A resident of the Little Wolf Rest Home, Manawa, at the time of her death, she was born in Germany on March 30, 1878, coming to the U.S. as a child. Her husband George preceded her in death in 1928.
Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Hulda Preuss, Weyauwega.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont, with the Rev. Erwin Ploetz officiating. Burial is in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. today until the time of services.
