His funeral was held Thursday afternoon at the Harry A Nauman & Sons parlor, with burial in East Lawn Cemetery. He was a newspaper vendor, having lived in California for 22 years. He was preceded by his wife, Hester K. Lain, and survived by his children, Homer M. Lain, Mrs. Alberta Pearce and Mrs. Irving Rivett, all of Sacramento.
