MURRAY, Ky.--Ernestine Norman, 83, of Murray died at 9:26 a.m. Friday at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.
She was a retired food service employee of Calloway County schools and was a member of Cherry Corner Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Sons and Brenda Broach, both of Murray; two sisters, Evelyn Koerber of Romulus, Mich., and Hazel Ray of Murray; four brothers, Mozelle Phillips, Garvin Phillips and Harold Phillips, all of Murray, and R.J. Phillips of Marshall County; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren..
She was preceded in death by her husband, Artell Norman; two sisters; and two brothers. Her parents were Ernest and Cozy Outland Phillips.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home in Murray. The Rev. Mark Mohler will officiate. Burial will be in Hicks Cemetery.
