GOSSETT, Diantha Beauchamp -- Passed away March 14, 2003 in San Jose, CA. Born December 4, 1916 in White Plains, Long Island, New York, she was the daughter of Edward and Lona Beauchamp, the third of four children. Preceded in death by her husband Gerald Gossett whom she met while attending Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. They were married on December 31, 1939. She is survived by her sister, Helen Peterson, of Boulder, Colorado; her son Steven Gossett and his wife Paula of Los Gatos; her daughter Julianne Knapp and her husband David of Campbell; grandchildren John Gossett, Michael and Christine Gossett, and Gerry, Bryan and Allie Knapp. She was a resident of Saratoga since 1958, and was very active in the P.E.O. Sisterhood. A member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, she served many years as Advisor for the Gamma Xi Chapter of San Jose State University. Diane had been active in local theater groups and church choirs throughout her life. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2003, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 13601 Saratoga Ave., Saratoga, CA.
