Excerpt -- Master Donald Carl Shafferman, the 18-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Shafferrman, died at his home in the Loveland addition about 6 o'clock Saturday evening of meningitis. The funeral was held this morning at the home with services conducted by Rev. Leland Jerome Powell, and interment was in the Bluemont Cemetery.
