Funeral services for Olivia Arrant, 75, of Marion, La., will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 15, 2020 at First Baptist Church, Marion with Bro. Bubba Hoggatt officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Ms. Arrant passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020. Ms. Olivia was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse after working at Lincoln General Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center for 35 years. She enjoyed baking cakes, pies and cookies and was always looking for ways to care for, give to, or serve others. Ms. Olivia loved and cared for her many pets. She will be remembered for her soft, tender heart.
Ms. Arrant was preceded in death by her parents, Zealius Eugene “Buddy” & Gladys Perkins Arrant; one brother, Robert George Arrant; one half-sister, Eugenia Gibson; two half-brothers, James Arrant and Van Hiram Arrant; and one brother-in-law, Phillip W. Baker.
Left to cherish her memory are one sister, Etta Jane Baker; two nephews, Chris Baker (Cesta) and Jason Arrant Baker (Kelly); two great-nephews, Bryce and Tristan; one great-niece, Elliana; and a host of other friends and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Chris Baker, Jason Baker, Jerry Allen, Andy Jones, Richard Towns and Chad Towns.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. ~ 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 15, 2020 at First Baptist Church, Marion.
