Born to the late Orlando and Mariah Southworth in Nebraska, he was married on May 28, 1912 in Franklin County, Ohio to the former Emma Eunice Ewald, who survives him.
The founder and originator of the Southworth Poultry Company, he retired 13 years ado. He was a former inspector for the C&O Railway for 47 years.
Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons, Marvin and William K. Southworth; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, P.C. Southworth and W. H. Southworth.
Interment Sunset Cemetery following services in Shroyer Funeral Home on West Broad St. Soutworth Poultry Co. will be closed on Thursday afternoon.
