Mrs. Geneva Elizabeth Kidd, age 82, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 11, 2020. Mrs. Kidd was born in Butler County, KY on January 22, 1938 to the late Robert C. Burden and Dorothy Finley Burden. She was a member of Pond Creek Baptist Church and the Shepherdsville VFW Post. She retired from Methodist Evangelical Hospital after many years of dedicated service. Among those who preceded her in death are, her husband, James Leroy Kidd; son, Dale Robert Kidd; granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Etherton; great-granddaughter, Skylar Etherton; grandson, Steven Crowley; siblings, Edith Rheamus, James Burden and Dallas Burden. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren; siblings, and a host of other dear family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 14, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Hebron Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
